About Worm Gearbox

Worm Gearbox has cast iron gear case of streamlined design completely air tight and dust proof. The worm wheel is made of chill cast phosphorous bronze. They are supported on extra heavy duty taper roller anti friction bearings of ample margin of safety to allow adequate journals as well as thurst loads. Lubrication is effected by splash of oil from the pump.

Range: 30-430 KW

Ratio: 30:1 or 40:1

Center Distances: 40mm to 400mm

Type: Single or double stage reduction

Ratios for single reduction worm gearbox: 5:1 to 70:1

Ratio for double reduction worm gearbox: upto 490:1
